RİZE DISASTER RESIDENCES

RİZE DISASTER RESIDENCES

Carried out for people who lost their homes as a result of the flood and landslide disaster which happened on the 27th of August 2010 in Rize’s Gündoğdu town, was managed by TOKI and it is called Rize Gündoğdu 172 Residences project. The purpose of this project is to ensure that disaster victims have new and safe residences.

With the intention to provide a quick solution to people whose homes collapsed as a result of the natural disaster which took place in Gündoğdu town, our project involves the construction of 172 residences in the affected area.

One of the most important features of the project is that it was completed in a short period of time. Us handing over the disaster victims their new residences in just 6 months is the result of efficient work and organization. This short completion time had great importance in the satisfaction of the urgent needs for residences of the disaster victims.

Rize Gündoğdu 172 Residences project was brought into reality under the leadership of TOKI. This way, the disaster victims, along with getting modern and safe residences, obtained a living space that is suitable in terms of social life and the surroundings. The quality of the materials used in the project and the sturdiness of the construction provide the residents with long-lasting comfort and security.

Completion of this project is a great step in terms of the disaster victims rebuilding their lives and reintegrating into society. By offering an environment where the disaster victims can live in a safe and peaceful manner, the residences raise the quality of their lives.
